Feel Your Way Forward
For the woman who feels overwhelmed, disconnected and is unsure why.
You don’t want to feel this way, and it’s not like you haven’t tried to feel better.
You don’t want to carry everyone else’s emotions.
You don’t want to overthink every conversation.
You don’t want to feel exhausted and anxious all the time.
And yet… here you are again. I’ve been right where you are.
What if there was never anything wrong with you or how you feel?
What if your anxiety, perfectionism, people pleasing, emotional overwhelm or self-doubt weren’t flaws to overcome but perfectly normal and intelligent adaptations you developed to help you move through life? To help you survive.
Somewhere along the way, even if you weren’t aware of it, life hurt you and your body learned that being fully yourself didn’t always feel possible…
so you became who you needed to be.

You learned to…
stay quiet and keep the peace.
say what you think others want to hear, not how you really feel.
talk yourself out of what you feel.
constantly survey the room and keep track of everyone’s emotional temperature.
care for everyone else first.
overachieve.
worry about EVERYTHING.
push through when your body asks you to slow down.
question, resent, or shame your emotions.
go back and forth between losing it on your loved ones to numbing out with a bottle of wine or pint of ice cream while you doom scroll social.
These adaptations helped you survive but they are the very patterns keeping you stuck, overwhelmed, depleted and disconnected from yourself now. They are the very patterns preventing you from fully savoring your life and feeling at ease and alive.
And that’s ok. There’s nothing wrong with you.
You learned to suppress, explain away, numb, or push past your real feelings and body because you had to.
You can learn a new way forward.

I know how hard you’ve tried to stop feeling at war with yourself.
You’ve read the books. Done the therapy.
You’ve said the affirmations, tried the morning routines, meditated, maybe cold plunged, exercised, supplemented.
Maybe you’ve even learned some nervous system regulation tools.
And yet…
Most days you still feel like a pressure cooker emotionally or like a shell of yourself.
That’s because insight alone doesn’t restore the relationship with yourself and repattern what your body learned through years of adaptation and survival.
You need a process that meets you exactly where you are, helps you create a felt sense of safety and gently tend to what your body has been carrying for years. It’s about learning to safely feel your way forward.

I’ve been where you are. I spent years trying to think, supplement, achieve and self-improve my way into feeling better. Some things helped, but none of them addressed what my body had learned through years of adaptation.
What I wanted was simple.
I wanted my life to feel like a deep breath.
Something I could enjoy and savor. Something I wasn’t just trying to keep up with or hold together.
The woman you want to be isn’t waiting somewhere in the future. She’s the one you’ve been protecting all along.

You can….
Stand at the sink washing dishes and realize your jaw isn’t clenched and your shoulders are finally down.
Feel yourself getting angry at a family dinner, recognize the boundary that’s been crossed underneath it, and communicate it before you blow up, shut down, or make a passive-aggressive comment.
Leave a conversation feeling unsettled, hear the little voice inside saying “something wasn’t right about that,” and trust yourself instead of spending the next three days convincing yourself you’re overreacting.
Have an emotion come up and support yourself through feeling and processing it instead of suppressing or becoming overwhelmed by it.
Wake up tired, cancel the workout, take the nap, and not spend the rest of the day feeling guilty or trying to make up for it.
Let someone support you without feeling uncomfortable or like you owe something in return.
Dance barefoot in the kitchen or play with your kid after a long day instead of stress-eating your way through the pantry or grabbing a drink to take the edge off.
“Feel Your Way Forward” sessions is the bridge between surviving and reconnecting with yourself. It’s reconnecting with the woman you’ve been underneath the coping, people-pleasing, overthinking, self gas-lighting and self-doubt.

What is a “Feel your way forward” somatic healing session?
Most women come to this work because they’re tired of trying so hard to feel better and feeling at war with themselves.
They’re tired of managing their emotions, second-guessing their decisions, people-pleasing, overthinking, pushing through exhaustion, being overwhelmed, or repeating patterns they thought they had already healed.
They know something needs to change.
What they don’t always realize is that many of these patterns aren’t coming from a lack of awareness.
They’re coming from survival responses that were learned long ago and are still being carried in the body.
A Feel Your Way Forward session is a body-led, trauma-informed process that helps you safely reconnect with what you’ve been feeling, carrying, suppressing, or overriding.
Rather than trying to think your way out of a pattern, we work with the body and nervous system where many of these responses originally formed.
Every session begins by creating a foundation of safety.
This is because most people were never taught how to be with difficult emotions, unmet needs, or overwhelming experiences without disconnecting from themselves.
From that foundation, we gently explore what is present.
Sometimes that’s a trigger. Sometimes it’s overwhelm. Sometimes it’s a repeating pattern, relationship challenge, fear, emotion, or internal conflict.
Together we listen to what your body is communicating and work with the emotions and survival patterns underneath.
Instead of forcing a breakthrough or endlessly analyzing the story, we allow the body to complete what has been unfinished and integrate what has been waiting for attention.
Each client journey is different. Some see results with one session and others notice that after some time they no longer have to try so hard to manage themselves.
They trust themselves more. Their emotions feel less overwhelming.
Their boundaries become clearer. Their intuition becomes easier to hear.
They begin responding to life connected to themselves rather than from old survival patterns.
Healing and this journey is about creating enough safety to stop abandoning the parts of yourself that need love, acknowledgment and care.
For those curious about the specific modalities within the session, it draws inspiration from neuroscience and somatic approaches such as Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, NeuroAffective Relational Model, Compassionate Inquiry, NeuroAffective Touch, The Diamond Approach, and the anatomy of the female nervous system.
What clients are experiencing…
Why Work with Me?
I’ve spent over a decade studying and integrating multiple holistic and science-rooted modalities, somatic and cyclical living approaches, and trauma-informed frameworks, not to collect tools, but to understand how they truly fit together.
What I’ve found is this:
Most people don’t need another technique and they don’t need to ‘talk about it’ one more time.
They need a space where their nervous system can move at its own pace and complete what has been unfinished for years.
I bring lived experience, professional somatic training, intuitive guidance, and grounded relational presence to support integration at the root, not just symptom management.
If you’ve been circling the same patterns for years knowing better but still feeling stuck, you’re not doing something wrong.
It may simply be that your body hasn’t yet had the safety, space and support it needs to complete what it’s been holding.
Feel Your Way Forward sessions creates the space for your body to complete what it has been holding for years, and instead of constantly managing yourself, you can begin to feel at ease, savor your life, and receive more of what’s here for you.
If you’ve tried many things to feel better but something in you knows there’s a deeper layer that hasn’t been reached yet, this work may be exactly what you’ve been looking for.

How to Begin
Meaningful shifts can happen in a single session.
At the same time, many people find it supportive to begin with a small series of sessions so the nervous system has time to build safety and integrate what unfolds.
You’re welcome to start with one session or choose a short series if you already know you’d like to give the work more space to develop.
There is no rigid formula and each session follows the pace of your body and what is ready to be explored.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many sessions will I need?
Every person is different. Some women experience meaningful shifts in a single session. Others choose to continue over time as deeper layers unfold and integrate.
This is less about fixing a problem as quickly as possible and more about creating enough safety and capacity for your body to process what it has been carrying so it can be integrated and stop looping in your system.
Many clients find that as they reconnect with their own inner resources and tend to the parts of them that have been asking for attention, they rely less on external support and need sessions less frequently.
Do I have to talk about my trauma or relive painful memories?
No. You do not need to retell your story or relive painful experiences for healing to happen. We work with what is present in your body, emotions, and nervous system in the moment.
Everything is guided by your capacity and paced in a way that supports safety rather than overwhelm. This work is about helping you develop the capacity to stay connected to yourself while gently exploring what is ready for attention.
What actually happens during a session?
Every session is different because every person is different. We begin by creating a foundation of safety and connection in and with the body.
From there, we explore whatever feels most present or important for you that day.
Sometimes that’s a specific trigger, a recurring challenge or issue. Sometimes it’s overwhelm, anxiety, people-pleasing, emotional reactivity, self-doubt, a relationship challenge, or simply a feeling that something isn’t right.
Rather than analyzing the situation, we listen for what your body, emotions, and nervous system are communicating underneath it. Together we explore what wants attention, what has been suppressed, and what may be ready to resolve or integrate.
The goal is to create enough safety for your system to naturally complete what it’s been holding.
How is this different from therapy or coaching?
Many approaches focus on understanding patterns through conversation, insight, or strategy.
This work focuses on the body. Many of the patterns we’re trying to change aren’t happening because you lack awareness but because your body learned ways of coping, protecting, and surviving that are still running beneath the surface.
Instead of trying to think your way out of those patterns, we work directly with the emotional and survival responses held in the body so lasting change becomes possible.
What if my emotions feel too big?
Many women come to this work because they’re exhausted from either feeling too much or feeling disconnected from what they feel altogether.
A core part of this process is helping you build the capacity to safely experience your emotions without becoming overwhelmed, shutting down, or needing to suppress them.
Your emotions aren’t the problem. The problem is often that you’ve never had the support, safety, or skills needed to be with them.
Is this work right for me?
This work tends to resonate with women who are self-aware, have already done some inner work, and know there’s a deeper layer beneath the patterns they’re still experiencing.
It’s especially supportive for women who are tired of people-pleasing, overthinking, overriding themselves, managing their emotions, doubting themselves, or feeling disconnected from their bodies, needs, or desires.
If you’re ready to stop fighting yourself and begin building a more trusting relationship with yourself, this work may be a good fit.
How do I know if I’m ready?
You don’t need to have everything figured out. Often, curiosity, resonance, or the feeling that “something about this speaks to me” is enough. Many women arrive because they’re simply tired of carrying what they’ve been carrying alone.
What if I don’t know what I want to work on?
That’s completely okay. Many people come to sessions knowing something feels off but not knowing exactly why. You don’t need a perfectly defined problem to begin.
We can start with what is present. A sensation, an emotion, a recurring pattern, a feeling of overwhelm, a sense of disconnection.
Often, as safety and awareness increase, the deeper layers naturally begin to reveal themselves. You don’t need to have all the answers before you come. That’s part of what we’re discovering together.
What Feel Your Way Forward Somatic Healing is not:
It is not talk therapy and does not replace medical or mental health care. This work is a modality designed to support nervous system awareness and restoration, emotional regulation and personal growth. It is educational and experiential in nature, supporting awareness, capacity, and integration through the body.
I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you require medical, psychological, or psychiatric support, please consult a licensed professional.
